Nope...I'm not a boy scout, nor do I get random urges to shank someone. I guess however it'd be more convenient to carry one, in case you come home to your significant other watching pr0n masturbating... you don't have to walk to the kitchen to get something to stab em with

i used to carry one all the time, haven't for some time now though. you'd be surprised how many occasions a pocket knife can be useful.

When i go anywhere with the wife and kid I ALWAYS carry my 5 inch switch. There are alot of crazies out there and you will be suprised how well the click or a big switch blade deters shady characters.

knives are a gray area (legally), if you keep it out of sight in your pocket and you arent a convicted felon you are probably alright. Either way, I'd rather carry my knife because guns are too final. Keeping a gun in the house is fine, but I don't think people should be carrying them around. Plus I am much better with my knife than I am with a gun.
