My wife pulls down at least $30 k a year more than I do. I am fine with that, good for her. We split the mortgage and utilities and we each keep the rest of our income for our fun stuff. For her, shoes, for me, video games and cars.

But when we go out to eat the check comes and she looks at me and blinks. We go out to a movie and pull up to the ticket window she just looks at me and blinks like "OK dummy get out your wallet."

Thats just the way it works with women, get used to it.

If you like the girl, back up a couple steps and see if she wants to come to your place and hang out or do other things, if she just wants you to keep taking her out as a free meal, find someone more fun to hang out with.

A friend of mine went on a first date with a girl who wanted to order an extra entree so she could take it home as leftovers for later. He explained that while he was paying for dinner, he would not pay for leftovers. There was no second date.

As for me, on dates I paid, nights out with female friends we'd each pay our own way (except for birthday celebrations) and my gf and I have been together long enough that we have a cost-sharing arrangement for food, entertainment, vacation, mortgage, bills, etc.

 

That there is stand up and walk away material.

I'm only buying drinks for 1a, and only if I ask her out.

 

My ex-gf would always offer to pay when we were dating. I loved that about a her. Even though she offers I would end up paying regardless of how much she makes(she makes alot more than I do). She would try to take the bill away from me and hide it from me. I just love the fact that she cared about me that much and not my money. If I can find a girl that does offer to pay once in a while I wouldn't really mind paying at all. All in all... the so called "date" that I was on just really ticked me off and I had to ask for you guys inputs. I would never go on another "date" with her unless she bring some hot friends that I can bone

 

He's a little nicer than that but yeah, that was their last contact.

 

If I asked them out, I pay.
If they want to see me, I'll pay... but if they didnt offer to pay I probably wouldnt go out with them again... unless they ****en hot and/or put out.
