Does parking ticket go on your record?

I got a parking ticket for parking in the bike lane. Will this show up as a point in my driving record?

Parking tickets are non-moving violations, similar to no-front-plate tickets. They don't affect insurance ratings.

nope....but if you don't pay them, bad things can happen (towed, etc).

If you don't pay them, I think they will actually not let you register the car when you're up for renewal.
