I am currently searching for a new digital camera, and have taken an interest in the Canon PowerShot S2 IS. Does anyone have this camera, and if so, give me some info about it? Any help would be appreciated, thanx.

This camera is suppose to be fairly new, so I don't believe that I could find any info on it under the gallery, but then again, if Im wrong I would appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction.

I have the canon S1 IS with 10x optical zoom and 3.2 megapixel. it's a great camera for the price, it's the 2nd canon digital I've owned I really like the compression, color rendering and controls, esp. for the price.

It's not the right forum. "S2000 Talk" is about .................. well .................. S2000s. I'm not sure how you can call a digital camera an S2000.

The "Gallery" is for posting pictures of things, not a forum about what you took the pictures with.

"Off Topic" would be the appropriate place to post such a topic. OR in your local forum is you want regional opinions.

No biggie. I'll just send a report and a mod will see it and hopefully move it for you.

The S2IS is a great camera. The zoom works excellent, and it's small enough to tote around. I have one for sale if you are interested. PM me, it's brand new.
