Actually you're wrong...if you look at their legal disclaimer, you'll see the dl'ing only applies to citizens of Russia. It absolves itself of any legal ramifications resulting in dl's from anyone outside of Russia.

So basically you're taking a risk by DL'ing from this site.

iTunes is not based on a monthly subscription model -- You're not leasing the music, you're purchasing it. You only pay for what you want to download and keep.

Additionally, since it's not subscription based, you're still allowed to listen to anything you've purchased. There's no need to maintain a subscription in order to retain rights to music you've spend money on.

All other music services have highly restrictive DRM which makes iTMS the only contender in my opinion.

So you can't stream unpurchased music i.e., rhapsody and napster? I've never used iTunes so I just assumed you can pay a monthly fee for streaming music instead of purchasing each track.

www.musicdownloads.walmart.com

You can find it through walmart's website...$.88 per song before tax, no subscription, the only thing is they don't have everything. Definitely worth checking out though.
