Ipod? how difficult to upload songs?
if i already have some mp3s on my HD, can i simply drag and drop them on the ipod? or do i have to use the ipod software (iTune?)?
any limits? the good and the bad?

I use EphPod as a free 3rd party Ipod manager. You definitely do NOT have to use iTunes. I've been playing with Rhapsody but I might end up going with the flow and using iTunes for podcast management.
