Tie chains AND clips are NO GOOD. Do NOT wear either. A tie is all that is needed. You will get razzed quite frequently if you wear either.

 

only idiots spend any time at all harassing a person for their dress. Tie clips, chains, and pins are all fine. You'd have to have no class at all to let your tie flap around, or criticize someone for wearing a tie chain.

 

Just wear a vest with a monocle and a pocket watch. No tie clip or pin needed.
