Being drunk can put some bad ideas in your head, but most anyone should be able to not act on them.

Ev, not to tell you what's doing, but you may wanna step away from this, or, at least not choose to hang out with these people if drinking is going to be involved.

 

u dont walk with ur cash hanging out of your pockets in the gangster area. women shouldn't get wasted so they black out when there are guys they dont know around. getting seriously wasted in general isn't a smart thing to do period.

'shit happens???' In this case, the shit you are talking about is sexual assault. It doesn't just happen. 'Men' who assault women this way, without the knowledge (let alone consent) of their victims should be locked up.

Everytime I hear the caveman point of view that 'girls just ask for it' or 'she dressed a certain way - she had it coming', I cringe. I'm sure your attitude would change if the girl involved was your sister / daughter. I certainly hope that's never the case.

 

rules of life by me:
#1 never do anything with a girl who isn't ok with it.
#2 never blame alcohol for something you've done. you may have been making poor choices after drinking, but you still made the choice to drink in the first place. by making that first choice, you accept responsibility for all future choices no matter how impaired you are. this includes things you don't even remember. your choice to drink, accept the consequence.

these two things being said... this situation sounds like all kinds of f'ed up. if the girl was ok with the hookups because she was drunk and horny, then thats her fault. if she was not ok with the hookups but was playing along because she was scared or half-way unconscious, thats entirely another story, and the guy/guys in question were basically sexually assaulting her.

either way, the two dudes are less than pathetic for hooking up with their friend's girl, no matter how much they'd been drinking.

and guys.. holy crap i CANT BELIEVE I SAW SOMEONE SAY its "her fault" for being drunk around horny dudes or "her fault" for theoretically possibly dressing slutty. that is dead 100% wrong, plain and simple. that is essentially condoning sexual assault. its never a girl's fault if a guy takes advantage of her.

is she possibly an idiot for getting that drunk or dressing that slutty... maybe... but if you're an idiot and go wandering through a bad area late at night, is the guy who mugs you any less guilty of assault? no of course not.
