1. When people are drunk and start getting touchy feely, are they really drunk or just taking advantage of the situation?
IMHO they are taking advantage.no matter how drunk i get i am always fully aware of what I'm doing.couple of times i got so drunk i forgot what i did that night, but remembered a couple days later..

After reading his post, I clicked wantone's user profile, fully expecting to see a birthdate sometime in the late '80s. You could've knocked me over with a feather when I saw 1971. Holy christ, man, you are 36 years old, and you have to ask a bunch of internet geeks if groping a drunk girl is okay? Time to climb out of the parents' basement and experience life for yourself, dude.
Hey man it's a nice basement

I've been to enough (really) drunken events, I can honestly say there are situations where I would say being drunk IS an excuse. Given this would never be the case with actual rape, ect... but being touchy-feely is a long way from that.

My buddy just left for Iraq last week. The going away party was pretty intense. Long story short, one of his friends crashed on his sofa. In the middle of the night, said friend got up, took off his pants, and put them in the oven. He then went back to bed. Five hours later, he wakes up and freaks out because he can't find his pants.

Moral of the story: if you get drunk enough, people are capable of things they would NEVER justify when they were sober. Lesson for the girls: don't get drunk and blackout unless you have a sober guy there who you trust.

what do u mean poor girl? women should know that guys are like that. if they dont, they're lying to themselves or just naive. sick of hearing about women getting wasted, then claiming that they are victims of this and that.

true, men shouldn't do that, but that never stopped anyone
Yes blame the victim. I can't believe people still think that way...Not all guys are lame and disrespectful so as to take advantage of women who are drunk. I don't give a rat's ass if she was wearing a bra and short shorts...A woman has the right to a sense of safety.

Person A does something to harm Person B, but Person B is somehow responsible for Person A's actions?!

Think of it this way - A man is walking down the street in an upscale area of town. He's dressed in a $10,000 suit, carrying a $4,000 briefcase. He gets robbed. Does he deserve it? After all, he *was* provoking the thief, wasn't he?

So last night I met up with 'passed out' friend and learned this his girl had told him this: While he was passed out on the floor and in the room, she had decided to sleep next to him to keep him company. At one point passed out friend's best friend sneaks into the den. Two other friends rush into the room, knock and asks girl if everything is ok? Best friend then jumps behind the door to hide and signals girl not to say anything. The two guys leave. Then passed out boy turns to his side and best friend says to girl "See even **** doesn't want to see this happen" or something to that effect and shoves his hand down her shirt and up her dress to her ass!!! Meanwhile smooching her neck. Minutes later he gets up and asks her if she wants a ride home or sleep over his place? Girl says she couldn't even think of what to say but says no. Best friend leaves and best friend's friend comes into the room and does the same thing only he goes further!!! She finally comes to, says she needs to get up and walks outside to puke or something... Morning comes and about 7am passed out boy frigging finally wakes his ass up and girl is next to him to discloses all the events! So far best friend goes about life the same, I guess since then made 2 attempts to 'apologize' to the girl but girl says it was one of those "so you know I was really drunk right" and not a formal sorry or anything. Meanwhile passed out boy is just furious that all this happened and expected his best friend to be better than that... So now I guess the question is:

If you were passed out boy do you walk away from best friend or just let it go? It's easy to say sock the best friend in the face and all that gangsta stuff but mind you I know the best friend and he is really really and outstanding guy who's there for everyone in the group!!!
