Just curious Mindcore, since the S2K has no ashtray, what would someone that doesn't want to flick ashes or butts out the window do?? I guess quitting smoking would be one option.

Ummm, I just want to apologise to you guys, you see, I'm a flicker of butts, but in my defense, I'm very concious of flicking em back at another car. As for the ash tray, I never use it, I don't want ashes in my car

Can't speak for everyone else but since the S2000 doesn't have an ashtray I usually put out the cigarette, first by ripping off the remaining tobacco from the butt (I don't smoke it to the end but close). Then smothering the lit tobacco in my fingers and then flicking everything out the window. No fires, littering yes but it's biodegradable ( I think).

Nope, fibreglass dosen't degrade to quickly. if it's raining I may use a coffee cup or something. Now yes I know that it is littering, but I'm the first guy to pick up a pop can on the street, so it's not like I flagrantly litter or have no conciunce of it.
As for the simple opinion of "just quit" much, much harder then you could imagine, if you have never smoked. It is quite possibly the most addictive substance available. How cigerettes are legal I'll never now. I guess money speaks. Do I fell guilty? not when a car in front of me id spewing noxious fumes most likely singlehandidly destroying the atmosphere.

Is the ashtray an option or something? I took mine out and use the space for storing change.

On the flicking butts... a friend (not me obvioulsy!! ) will pick up butts that people throw out of their cars when sitting in traffic and throw them back in saying "I think you dropped this!!"

Yes he is over 6 foot tall and built like a brick sh1t house, but I find it VERY funny when I see him do it!!!

I'm with Mondcore on this one. I smoke everyday. In my stook and in my home. Yes I throw the butts out the window. No, I do not put the ash out in my hand first (shit's hot!!). I have been known to hit other cars with my cigarette butt. Even another stook or two (sorry Joe, John, Dave and Rudy! ). And yes, I know it is wrong. I am sorry.

If you have never, EVER littered, not even once as a kid, then, please, flame (no pun intended) away!!

Mark

P.S. - My cigarette butts are 100% biodegradable. I smoke Dunhill's for this very reason.

My Stook has an ashtray but as I do not smoke, it never gets used.
Smoking and driving is a bad combination, it takes your mind off what you are doing.
I have seen people all over the road trying to get a cigarette out and light it up.

I smoke in my stook, but I flick my butts straight down to the ground hoping that the impact of the pavement will put out my lit cherry. Hmmmmm....that sounded alot better in my head. Forget I said any of that.
