Default driving question

consider a long sweeping left turn. if cars are racing around it, what factors determine which car will let go first? tires, alignment, what else?

in the case of the s2000, how can you figure out the max safe speed to take a turn at (figuring that if you go too far, you'll skid off the road, into a wall and mess up the car)? going to a track is the obvious answer, but ive been and it just feels different being on road and on track. i grew up driving the exact opposite of sports cars and at speeds where i feel unsafe, i know the s2000 can do more.

you also have to consider the conditions of the road, IE smoothness, degree of banking, materials that would have different coefficient of friction. The best way to find out is to experience it yourself. Knowing the max capibility of your car will not only make you go faster, but a safer driver as well.

What kind of rubber do you have on the car also goes into the equation.

i.e. Street rubber < Soft Racing rubber

How much Sac do you have? I think that might be the largest single factor not accounted for so far.
