okay well i just got back from the hobby shop and it was just my ignitor. ha ha they were out of the rechargable ones when i went the first time so i went ahead and got the one that uses the d cell battery and it wasnt allowing the glow plug to fully heat up. with their ignitor it fired right up! so i got me one charging up now.

If anyone else is interested, the Duratrax Raze ST is $200 RTR now too. Along with $100 for Evader ST RTR.

okay well here is my quick review.

got the break in done and several more "fun tanks" done and the truck is amazing. i need to brush up on my tuning skills as i got it way out of wack trying to learn ha ha. had to have a few runs to the hobby shop. over all the truck is great. to compare it to another truck its exactly like the HPI savage. the frame, starter, big block motor, radio everything. its like an affordable HPI. the guys at the shop were really liking this truck especially for the money spent. the only problem i have run into is that my reciever or transmitter is bad. no too big of a deal relly. everything is mass produced these days so i do expect some mistakes. contacted duratrax product support monday this morning and this evening they replied that there is a new on of each in the mail tomorrow morning. no questions at all! if you looking to get into a cheap durable nitro truck jump on this deal!

oh and its pretty dang quick too!

I made a 5 AA cell pack for the receiver so I get full 6V.

I just upgraded the steering servo with high torque 204oz/in digital servo. stock is 120oz/in

I plan on using the stock steering servo for the throttle/brake as i think the brake needs a bit more bite.

I also got the 200oz warhead fuel tank.. tire of filling up every 10 min.

I also tightented up the servo saver to max... it's waaaaay too lose..

OH ya.. i'm trying to justfy getting the RAZE too.. it's 1 gear only but lighter, and 38mph aint' too shabby.
