anyone here made it to Eagle?

i got to Life and lacked 2 MB and a project

i remember my reason to get the Eagle was almost every astronaut back in the Apollo days were all Eagle scouts

 

I got the astronaut spiel too, which made me want to be an Eagle Scout. I can't remember how far I got. But it wasn't that close.

 

I made it to Life too. But I got older and I was more concerned with girls than
merit badges. So no Eagle for this scout.

 

I don't remember anything about the astronauts, but I was told that it looks good on a resume. I earned it, a long time ago.

I made life at the age of 12, and then transferred troops and quit after i went to philmont.

Lacked two badges and the project. Safety, and Personal Management. (ironic since i work in finance now).

I really wish i stuck with it though.

 

I was one merit badge away from Eagle Scout. It was going to be Astronomy, my big hobby. Then I got kicked out of scouts for hiding behind a bush and ambushing Forrest Lindsey, the scoutmaster's son (a first class weinee), with water balloons. It knocked him off his bicycle.
