Why did you switch to the Z-5450s, for the wireless rears? Seems to me aside from that you made a bit of a downgrade in terms of sound quality and power output.
Yup, for the wireless speakers. It was a minor downgrade in sound quality, but again, they're just computer speakers. Logitech really fked up on this system. They ran the rear speakers on the same frequency as some of their wireless mice. I just happened to be using the same frequency mouse and it definitely made the mouse skip and stop responding every so often. I put up with it for about a year when I realized I really don't need 5.1s for the computer. Klipsch speakers and M-Audio speakers are definitely great for computers and entertainment system. I sold my Klipsch 5.1s for the Z-5500 and regretted it.

Ah it's gratifying to hear you say that Enjoy!
I'm thinking about picking up another set to go with my 46" HDTV

I've been wanting this setup for my computer ever since they came out, when it was like $400

Ah I see.

I'm not sold on anything wireless yet except for mice. 802.11 never seems to have been perfected, regardless of whether it's a,b,g,n, etc. It's always somewhat flaky in my eperiences.

I had a couple wireless speaker sets at my parents house that we used during parties to have the same music going in multiple rooms. Even when right next to the transmitter they were never as clear as they could be.

I'm using my speakers on my 46" HDTV right now Using them for everything including TV, DVD, Wii, and Music. I've yet to find anything about them that I dislike. But I digress.

I have the 2.1 version of these speakers and absolutely love them. I use them when I'm Djing as well and they do a decent job, although I'm only DJing with them till I can buy back my KRK monitors . But for pc use - the def. rock and even the 2.1 system hits hard and are by far the best PC speakers I've owned.
