I hate rap, but Eminem is great.

The only two rap albums I've ever bought/downloaded -> Sir Mix a Lot and Eminem.

did anyone catch the interview b/w weird al and eminem on "AL TV"(on vh1). he said something like "different GENDERS of music"...what a dumbass. he meant genre.

A lot of MCs out there much better than he is, but that's mainstream music for you.

I think that anyone who is able and willing to throw sand in the face of the moral majority is on the right track. It might make people uncomfortable, or even full of disgust and dislike, but it predominantly prompts people to think and to react which are things i generally consider to be healthy.

Eminem is probably the best rapper to ever live. His talent of rhyming words is untouchable and his imagination is endless. His music isn't for everyone but anyone who knows anything about rap or music, cant deny that Eminem is the most talented rapper to ever live. (and he's white, that's weird)

A good song that shows his rhyming talent: "still don't give a f***", listen to the WHOLE thing, its simply amazing. Also :"Rock Bottom".

 

i agree that eminem is probably one of the best rappers out there besides tupac.

he is quite the lyricist and puts has quite a wide range of different styles of rap unlike other rappers. i have to say his cds are the only cds i can listen to the whole thing without being bored. that a long with the linkin parks hybrid theory. he has a lot of energy in his music and his lyrics actually do touch on subjects which are quite interesting unlike other rappers who just talk about weed, bitches, diamonds, cars and houses.
