Ok, so since you're going to let her "get away" with driving drunk "one more time," since I also live in So Cal, can you at least tell me where she hangs out, so I can stay the **** out of her way?

**** drunk drivers.
Find new friends.

**** drunk drivers.
Find new friends.
I do feel a bit worried about taking her at her word, but the fact she's never really came to this realization before makes me feel better.
I will agree with most people here and say that calling the police is the best bet. I was in a similar situation as you, where a friend would constantly drive drunk. I tried the police thing, but unfortunatly she went to a friends house so they didn't get her.....but eventually she learned her lesson. She hit a parked car on the side of the road driving drunk a few nights ago (very lucky it wasn't a person) and now she has a DUI over her head. I'm hoping this will now scare her straight.
I just don't understand how that with the strictness of DUI laws people can risk driving drunk? I'm as big of a drinker as most, but I always make sure that our group has a DD (we all take turns) or if we all get sloppy we have someone to call. Even if it comes down to taking a cab, it's a lot better than losing your license
