116 billion dollars in non-sefence related transportation expences also 37 Billion bollars in grants for transportation to states (the big dig in Boston costs more that Norway spends every year in maintance cost)

Seems your the one that wrong and I have to prove it over and over again.

Sorry as I looked it over again total was 169.2 Billion this year.

NORWAY TOTAL BUDGET FOR ALL EXPENDITURES: 64.28 Billion a year. Again maybe your the one that wrong

exceltoexcel,

I'm sorry but, what's your point? First you were critical of the government taking your money and giving it to people in need. Then you changed your tune and said you aren't against giving to the needy but I really can't find the basis for your argument now. It seems that you are just ranting.

This thread got hijack. Initially I pointed out that no one should feel bad for how good they have it.

You could lose it easilly

Then I pointed out that I don't personally give much and that the US goverment makes us all give and a good deal at that.

Then people started argueing the point that the US gives more than any other country

After I found those figures someone asked about canadas contribution

After that I have people argueing that per capita means more.

Then I have to bring up the shear difference in running a country this big with this many people compaired to those smaller countries

I get that's not true so I hunt down those figure prove that point

End of the day US give more REAL HELP than anyother country in the world they take 10% of most peoples income just to help people here and around the world.

Facts are facts and I've given them constantly with link to goverment sites yet I have seen anyone argueing my statements that shows proof of th oppisite.

If your going to argue a statement of mine fine but back it up fact. If its a subjective argument then thats fine, no proof needed.

Let me get this straight. You're saying that we shouldn't feel guilt for what we have because the government takes more from us per capita that goes to helping others than any other nation. Is that your argument?

Haven't we read enough about who gives what? This thread is about feelings on a personal level, not nation charity.
