Default Failure To Use Turn Signal Ticket

I just got a ticket for turning without using my turn signal. So my question is, is this a common type of ticket or just an asshole move from the cop? Also does anyone know what the fine would probably look like? Im broke right now so im just trying to figure out if i need to sell my camera lens or something just to pay it off.

Your priorities are off if you have to sell personal property to pay a small traffic ticket. It's probably around 100 bucks?

sell a camera lens? you must have a shitty camera lens that is only worth 100-200 dollars and someone would have to be really really desperate to buy such a crappy lens. or this is your first ticket and you are way over estimating the cost of ticket or fines (did that when i was young)

My priorities probably aren't in the right place, not going to lie. Im a broke college student and I live with my parents. Id really rather not borrow money from my parents. So my canon 17-40 would pay off the ticket and some other things I need to get. Its just a lens and I could get another one.

You need a job. Not that it's anybodies business but how are you paying for the car?

The ticket probably isn't much. They'll knock it down to something smaller once you go to court.
