I just don't understand the reasoning behind making fun of someone who got a ticket...
To aid in the deterrence of the them getting another one
Like flaming someone will make a difference in that..... I seriously doubt it!

I only use it about 50% of the time. For example, if there is no one around I don't bother. Or if I'm at a signal with a lot of cars turning left, they normal have their's on so I don't bother. I only use it when its needed, if someones behind me and I'm turning into a driveway. Never heard of getting a ticket for not using it.

In the time it took you to start this topic, YOU could have probably read the back of the ticket and it probably listed the fine amount. Failing that, YOU could have probably looked it up online OR simply called the DMV/Clerk of the Courts in your state.
But nope, you expect US to do it for you.
If YOU can't figure this out on your own, I believe you are wasting your money & your time in college. This is something an 8th grader can figure out.
Well I wasnt looking for an exact number. I was just interested in a general area of the cost. From someone who may have gotten a similar ticket. I never asked anyone to go out of their way to find it out for me and dont expect anyone to. It doesn't say on the ticket and I didnt know about the other ways. So... like, thank you??? Lol.

All these idiots probably wish they drove an s2000 when they were a broke college student still living with their parents. Don't hate on this guy. He got popped with a ridiculous tickets. Show some sympathy.

One of the most important reasons to use it is in case you are wrong and someone else is around. It helps keep a common mistake from becoming an accident (I would bet that anyone that says they have never accidently cut someone off is lying or just never realized they did it thanks to the quick response of the other driver).

I think it’s especially important in the s2k since we have a large blind spot when the top is up.

Again, he broke an important law.

I don’t understand the “use it if someone else is around argument”. Why even put that much thought or effort into it? Just flip the lever regardless of if there are other cars around you……it isn’t difficult. Again, many accidents are caused because people wrongly think there is no one around and they don’t signal.

Broke college kid or not, he failed to use his turn signal and got a ticket for it. What amazes me is that HE can't figure out how much the ticket costs, yet HE wants us to do all the work for him.

Alright, either it's going to get more lame, or more messy. . .
