Default Father's Day gift for a Porsche fanatic...?

Need some help here. No father's day gift, and its getting down to the wire. My dad is a pretty big porsche fanatic, and just bought a pretty loaded out 996 after driving other cars for about 15 years. I'd like to get him something porsche/car related. Anyone have any thoughts? Cheap is good (~$50).

i would go with a nice poster...get it mounted.... that may cost more than $50.00 total, but would look great in the house.

I have a racing Porsche framed that is in my office at home....

I was in the same boat as you. I bought my father a set of door sills made of stainless steel with real cloissonne Porsche crests. This guy does a great job and these are beautiful. They go for $67.50 Buy-It-Now on Ebay. Dad loved them. These ones fit all the way up to 1998, so I guess that's a 993, not a 996. You could double check with him, though - he might have others or might make you a one-off custom set.

how about a scale model? I think AutoArt is among the best out there in terms of detail and pricing:

you can find other models at www.exoticar.com

Thanks guys. I'll keep thinking about it. Somehow posters and models won't do much for him. And $99 wax is a bit much. I think we'll stick with Zaino, thank you (yes, I realize I may have just named his gift).

Porsche offers a ton of clothing. A windbreaker, polo shirt, hat or the like could be nice. Misc stuff like 911 engraved keychains as well.
