Why get something that wants to be better than the iPhone? Why not just get an iPhone?

if that's your logic...then why get something like an iphone that wants to be better than a blackberry phone? why not just get a blackberry?

Explain to me how an iPhone attempts to be a BB in any way, shape or fashion

 

the iphone wasn't the first phone out there with an OS and internet. itt takes the idea of a blackberry ( or any smart phone ) and improves on it.

same thing is happening with the iphone now. i feel the droid is an improvement on the iphone overall. the iphone does still have some advantages.

but to say the iphone is so great we don't need to improve on it is ridiculous. like i said, the release of the droid and now the nexus one are going to force apple to be more innovative now. they were at the top for a couple years and the only real change is adding video which it should have had from the start.

there's also the point that the iphone is on a network that blows major donkey d. if i can have a phone that has all the capabilities and more ( in my imo ) of the iphone, on a network that won't drop every other call...i'm happy.

then again, the droid and nexus one are about a year newer than the iphone too.

 

got the phone in today, is taking a little bit to get used to (never owned a smart phone) but im catching on quickly, just started downloading apps
