Those people from Japan sure love to go shooting. Probably since they can't own a gun in Japan.

We took a few people from Japan over to a range here in LA. They went crazy over it. Even the girls loved shooting the guns.

I've been eyeing the HK .45 ACP for awhile. It's polygonal barrel, cold hammer forged construction is a work of art. I really should get a small caliber gun though, since I occasionally take first-timers to the range from Japan (wife's friends).
Anybody got any suggestions on a good small caliber target pistol?

I just changed the springs in my DE .44 and it has made a load of difference.

But there is still a really quirky thing that happens;

Funny thing is that the girls will usually shoot the guns better, at least initially, because they do as they are told and just squeeze the trigger until the gun goes off. The guys usually go cowboy style and yank the trigger and the rounds go flying everywhere. Especially into the ground after the first couple of shots.

This is my favorite HK website:

http://www.hkpro.com/

Check out the "World of HK" link. It takes you to information on all/almost all known HKs. I just love the PDW.

I have a Glock 17 and a few preban clips. I would recommended it as long as it is comfortable
for you to shoot. The only drawback I see with the Glock 17 is the solid grips, I would like to have
the option of changing them.

I prefer 9mm over other calibers because of the lower cost and it allows me to shoot quickly and still
be accurate. The 17 round clips are a bonus.

i prefer the .40SW or the .357SIG.

go with SIG&Sauer pistols, they're the best out of the box IMHO.
