Default Getting fed up with satellite radio

Sound quality went to shit, prices are going up, programming is repeatitive...it actually used to be good when I signed up in 04 anyone else recently cancel or about to? Thinking about picking up a slacker g2 radio

Yep, this is my last month. They've added new license fees which brings me to about $170 per year for radio. I'm done.

I only listen to talk radio on the thing...i get it free through work anyway.

couldn't u have just bought the lifetime subscriptions for 499 and dont ever have to worry about fees.

you can if you want the same radio for the next 30 years, I dont think they let you transfer the subscription if the radio dies or you want to replace it they don't offer the lifetime sub anymore either

You still get something like 3 or 4 transfers for $75 each. Considering I've had the same radio on lifetime for more than four years now, I'm still getting a great deal. Their radio development has been so poor that I haven't felt any need to upgrade.

ooTunes on my iPhone will let me listen to Howard for free, for how much longer I do not know but it works for now.

While I am a Sirius subscriber I will not be renewing, I can stream AOL radio and Pandora and pirate radio over my iPhone, that's good enuf for me.

If anyone has interest and you want to start or renew XM ask about the Win Back program. You may have to speak with a supervisor to get it but the cost is $70/yr
