couldn't u have just bought the lifetime subscriptions for 499 and dont ever have to worry about fees.
Well I could have four years ago, but I didn't. WTF? I'm so glad you are here.

The point being made is the quality of programing isn't worth $170 per year. Satellite radio is a luxury item in which I no longer find value.

I'm also pissed with their "evergreen" renewal clause. I tried to cancel the service online and I can't. I tried to delete the CC on file and couldn't without adding another. Now I need to quit posting and make a damn phone call.

Or, if one of your cars or radios is Sirius and another is / was XM you cannot put them on them same account now even though they are the same company.

Yup, progress.
yeah... had sirius for years. Went out and got a dock at work and had it in both of my cars via dock.

Then i buy an Acura that comes with XM, put the sirius dock in it thinking once they merge it's all going to be the same and i can get rid of it... no dice. To get Howard in my Acura i need to sign up with XM and buy the howard package (whatever that is) so then i pay for XM and Sirius cause i still use sirius at work and in the S2K.

The Comedy Channel I listened to had more commercials than my local rock station. Bye Bye Xm.

you can log in and use online streaming with your account right?
Nope you have to pay extra for the online feed it used to be free

I think I decided I'm done with this now have to call up tomorrow and try going through all the bullshit to cancel my sub. Gonna get a slacker radio I've been listening online for a few days now and its pretty cool you can customize your own stations and its only $99 for the equipment no monthly fees

Damn, just when I think I am out...they PULL me back in.

Sirius offered the next full year at half price. With tax, $81.75. No need to talk with a manager, the CSR made the offer and did it on the spot.

I cancelled last spring after 4 years, partly because I no longer saw the need to spend the money on it. Mostly, though, I just got tired of the signal cutting out every time I came within 50 feet of a power line or any tall tree.

Why pay for something that you can get for free?

What do you guys feel about HD radio? Many local radio stations are multicasting (carrying multiple channels within the same signal)? I don't have HD radio but I've been thinking about getting one. It should surely expand your listening options. Definitely cheaper than Serius/XM w/ probably as many options (with the exception of Radio Lemans, the COmedy channel, etc.).
