Congratulations!

I just opened that classs today. I haven't run any of the challenges as i am trying to get the last two golds in the previous class.

My worst class was the Pacific muscle. I spent so much time on it. Until i ditched both the GTR and the RX7 and went with the EVO. I had 5 silvers in that class. One try with the evo and I brought it down to only the cone challenges.

I suck at the cone challenges. That is why i have silver status in all my classes (and bronze in classics). I just can't get gold in any of the cone challenges.

I have
1 Bronze (classic cone challenge)
10 Silver (cone challenges)
53 Gold
11 Platinum (5 in the compact class! the rest are mostly speed camera traps - a reflexion of real life?? :-))

I have school tonight so no for me.

Cashout: what car did you use in American Muscle for the last street race?

Also remember that time is NOT the most important thing in the cone challenges, even getting through all the cone gates is not the most important. Get that tail hanging out and keep it out of the wall.

ruexp67. I have not run American Muscle. It just opened up this morning but I decided to try and get the last two golds in the previous class instead of starting american muscle.

Yeah, that is what I figure about the cone challenges. Thing is I am more of a racer so it is against my nature to get the tail hanging out.

OIC. I misunderstood. I thought you had just gotten to Super Car.

In Pacific Muscle, I had to use the WRX for everthing. I was pretty annoyed that I spent my kudo tokens on the Skyline as it was basically impossible to drive.

The Vette Stingray was pretty good for most challenges, but it was hard to drive. I had to use the SVT Mustang Cobra for the timed runs in the rain. I think they make the Mustang Coupe 2+2 better than it really is or even appears on paper, but I didn't buy it so I am not sure. (It was hard for me to drive a Ford, even in a video game.)

The SS Camero should have been the dominent car in that class, but it's not. Don't waste your Kudous on it.

I went on a bit of a buying spree in Super Car because I just wanted the cars. The Viper and the Z06 are pretty eqaul on the track with the Viper having more top end and the Z06 having WAY better breaks. I used the 911 for most of the challenges and OWNED the competition on Silver.

I finished Gold but I'm slowing way down after 30-something Platinums. Not worth the grief.

The Mustang Coupe 2+2 accelerates really hard but you HAVE to use the e-brake to get it to turn. Stingray pretty much kicks @ss on the rest of the class. It is hard to drive because you have to aim at every corner to just slip past 'em, but it is fastest.

The WRX can win most or all the Pac Muscle challenges but you should get better with the GT-R since it is faster on some tracks.

The Delfino Feroce is a nasty-handling Super Car but it is way faster than the rest of its class on most tracks.

I am using the SVT. Just run the first two challenges. The first one wasn't so bad (gold). The second one the gold is eluding me. I may give the stingray a try if gold is too elusive.

I used the GTR for the speed camera and one other timed run. It is too easy to slide.
