2 at a time for me.
Was knocked out. Felt no pain until later that day. Just iced and plenty of tylenol and that'll do the trick. Oh and it sucked to be hungry but that's better than getting an infection!

Well, not to freak anyone out, but I had my wisdom teeth pulled a few months ago. I still haven't recovered.
I had all 4 teeth removed at once, including 2 impacted teeth on the bottom. The doctor severed a nerve in my mouth while removing the lower left tooth and I have lost all feeling in my lip, jaw, teeth, and gums on the whole lower left side of my face. It sucks. I have to go back to the oral surgeon every 4 weeks to check progress, and have started going to a neurosurgeon to explore surgical recovery options. I think I may have to get an operation done that will attempt to reconnect the nerve. There is a 50-50 chance of getting better. . . and a slightly smaller chance of making things worse. Great.
I occasionally drool while eating and drinking. I constantly bite my lip and don't realize it until I'm bleeding all over the place, I can't feel 25% of my lips when I make out with my girlfriend, putting on chapstick has become a lesson in hand/eye coordination, and I feel like a total invalid at times (well, that's a little extreme).
Anyway, I'm sure my case only happens to 0.0001% of people who undergo this procedure. I was also in an annoying state of pain due to the teeth before the surgery.
All in all, I guess it was worth it. . . if I finally regain feeling in my face. Good luck in your recovery, and good luck to those of you who are soon to be doing the same.

I had all 4 of mine pulled about 3 weeks ago. Got put out for the procedure done by an oral surgeon. Did't really want my denist to do it. I really had no pain the whole time. Got them pulled one morning around 930 or so, slept the rest of that day when I got home. Next day I was out as usual doing whatever I wanted to do except eat what I wanted. Ate lots of pototoe salad, protien shakes, spagetti for a couple days. Ate anything I wanted on the 4th day and lots of it.
