Yeah, google is the best. It's the only search engine that I use now. It's so popular, that it's gotten into everyday language now, as in googling somebody (looking their name up on google to see what it finds).

using the quicksearch feature of IE i integrated google into my address bar. i type

goog hot sexy naked women
and it does a google search for 'hot sexy naked women'

get the IE 5.5 tools (microsoft download or do a google search) and open the QuickSearch.exe.
choose New.
type in the shortcut for the search (I used 'goog').
Choose Custom URL.
For the url enter Now you can use google quickly too! I use this for japanese-english dictionary, kanji dictionary, dictionary.com, thesaurus.com, php.net and a few other sites where i regularly use their search engine.

try the other way, yahoo uses google's engine now. but it's only to search the yahoo db, not the google db.
