i live in downtown denver... on my way home from class i was walking down the street at about 8:30 p.m. and two guys i'm walking towards look at me.

I avoid eye contact and they block my way, i take my headphones off and one of the guys just cold cocked me, knocking me to the ground.

At this point so much adrenaline is pumping through my body, i get up and i'm like "what the F@#K" and then they corner me and ask me for money. I have no cash so they run off.

All the while people were standing around and did nothing. I have a killer headache and a busted lip, and i'm just thankful that i got out that easy.... the sad part is that i had my brand new vaio tz laptop in my bag, and my fall busted a bout a 1x3 inch section of my LED screen out. They didn't look in my bag or even offer to take my ipod or my credit cards.

I hate the scum of the earth who can do this to random people, but i've learned my lesson not to be a soft target and walk through the most dangerous part of town at night with my headphones on....

Dude...isn't CO a carry and conceal state? Start packing heat bro. I recommend either a Glock 19 or Sig Sauer P239.

 

carry and conceal state? what are the regulations? if thats true then i'd consider it. if you have to walk at night on the streets alot then a glock is your best friend as long as you use it correctly.

 

That sucks!!! Could have been alot worse though. Might want to get a Concealed Carry Permit as mentioned earlier.

 

even if he had a consealed carry permit he wouldn't be able to carry on the college campus.
