President Obama won't solve my personal financial problems, nor will he help my division become profitable overnight, but I think and hope he'll be able to turn the ship around, however slowly.

Resume has already been updated - incidentally I was updating my resume (do this every 6 months or so) just last week...

Sorry to hear about the bad news, especially this time of the year. Sounds like you shouldn't have too much trouble finding a new job. Remember to stay positive and don't be afraid to ask for help from people. Part of getting a job is knowing the right person.

sorry to hear.

i was laid off last year.

but after my package, unemployment, and my new higher salary, i ended up making 30% more than I ever had before.

and my new job is WAY better.

good people always take care of themselves.
