Grandparents. . .
So, as I was leaving my grandmother's house after mowing her lawn this past weekend, she made the following comment after I put the top down. . .
"I never realized it was a two seater. . . That's Selfish!"
Maybe it is, but you gotta love the older generation
(by the way, she's seen my car on several occassions and never noticed?? go figure). . .

kinda depends .....my dad ,as a youth, drove nothing but roadsters[1930's-'40s].and dated my mom in such...as a kid i drove porsche speedsters and 914s..[60s-70s]...even now when i visit my mom[now 84] she thinks the s2k is "shiney" and "expensive" but never mentioned being "only "a two seater....
btw...she drives an accord with cool aftermarket wheels and factory leather!

My grandma (now 77) loved my car when she saw it. I even let her drive it and have pictures of her sitting in it. They are quite amusing since she is only 5'1" and her head is hardly visable over the window sill.
my 85+yo grandmother loved the ride when we went to lunch one day in my S2000. She said she hadn't had this much fun since she rode on the back of a motorcycle when she was younger! Only thing she did not like was she felt liike she was sitting on the ground. Oh well, she was a good sport about it.

I think an eight-passenger SUV occupied by a single driver is much more "selfish" (and wasteful) than a two-place sportscar.
