Most of you wouldn't want to step foot in Dubai after finding out some things.

the fast growth is not organic and is mostly funded privately (by folks that have more dreams than business sense)...it a big gamble trying to turn sand into gold...but in the end i think it will just go back to sand once the oil money runs dry.

IIRC the actual population of Dubai's citzens is around half a mil. But when you include the people who work there and technically live there, it's around 1.5 mil. But I could be wrong on those numbers.
