Well, I picked up GT2 yesterday. . . However, due to a birthday party & the MLB All-Star game (Joe Torre is 4-0 as an All-Star manager, Jeter is awesome ), I was only able to play (arcade mode) for about 45 minutes. . .

Initial Impressions. . .

The intro is AWESOME. . . The view from inside of the engine is definitely worth watching. . .

Compared to every other racing game (ever made), the graphics are flawless. . . There are no "slow downs" (even during two player mode) and the arcade mode is so much better that GT or GT2. . .

As with GT2, I like the fact that previous tracks have been retained, while new tracks have been added. . .

The rally mode (at least during arcade mode) is very well done. . .

Beyond everything else, the driving realism (physics) and the graphics make GT3 a must have (even for those among us that don't usually like racing games). . .

Tonight, I'll start the simulation mode. . .

hey i did end up seeing my friends booth at hot import nights...turns out they stuck him in a really bad spot but he made the most of it.

in the convention hall area all the way to the back (which is actually the front of the building) there is the exit to the doors which is where he was at...it would have been good if they were letting people in from the front but since you had to enter from the rear it was not all that.

Anyway, as I was leaving HIN I had to drive past the main "strip" (between the outdoor setup and the convention center). . . I turned way too many heads. . . Kids had their camcorders recording my car (WTF!!). . . It was almost like they had never seen an S2000 ever before

By the way, did you start the new job yet?. . . How is it. . . Keep me posted. . .

What kind of setup do you have to play GT3?? Did you get the logitech steering wheel and pedals??

FlyingPig - Diablo II Expansion is great. I had to start over with the Druid since I put all the skill points into the wrong skills. The summoning skills SUCK!!!
