My friend has this bad ass (if there is such thing!! ) miata at 320+ HP. But, when we run the 1/4 we can only get like 14.3 or so. We have tried all kinds of launches, low revs 1st gear, higher revs 2nd gear, but it will spin the tires like crazy if you try a high rpm launch even in second. We have the sport tires.

1) What is the best way to improve 1/4 times?
should we get some racing tires...they want crazy money for those?
What suspension setup works best for 1/4?

Just for kicks...who has the most powerful miata?
You know what sux...our stupid miata is only work 4.5k credits...damn miatas!!

PS: Orca Viper kicks ass in arcade mode!!

 

I think it's called Super Speedway. In a 1000+hp GTR, I average 35 sec/lap, plus you have to add in pit stops, so I'm guessing an hour or so. Plus, sometimes you get bored and try some new stuff, for instance, trying to hit the other cars while they turn to make them spinout.

You win $200,000 and it selects the car you win.

 

Well. I finished all the Arcade mode. (On Hard) I got all the cars and tracks for it. Now to the simulation mode....

 

You can actually do multiplayer with GT3, but it requires the link cable and seperate TV's/PS2's for each player.

Yesterday I maxxed out my Lotus. Aquired a new race car for winning the German Touring series, which handles better than the 1000+ hp Espirit, and is faster with only 800 hp and the 1.6 pounds per horsepower really helps. Now I have completed a couple of series' on the professional level. I also got a Aston Martin DB7 (already maxxed it out too). Yesterday was a good day in the world of Gran Turismo. Someone please come over and break my ps2. I will be mad but at least I'll do something besides play games all day.
