GT3 Tracking Thread
Has anybody fliped their car over? I don't know if it's possible, but I thought my car was going to. I was in my TT and I ran a curb at full speed and the front of my car just lifted up off of the road and pointed up at about 45 degrees into the sky. Then I hit a wall and came back down and kept driving like nothing happened. That was very cool looking on the replay.
Answers:
S2R, no you can not flip the cars. They will only tip 45 degrees in any direction. If the cars were designed to flip the game would take about another year to be released due to the increased physics and design.
demonderrick, If you do not have a Suzuki Escudo buy one. It is a reletive bargain a $1,000,000. Don't forget to buy the stage four turbos. At 1,700+ horse power you'll be having some fun.

I'd recommend start buying cars that you can take in the specialized races and start maxing them out. You'll need them for the Amateur and Professional races.
I wouldn't waste my 1mil on an Escudo. I just won mine from the Rally races and I find it slower on the track than the Gillette Vertigo race car. In straights its great, 4th-6th gears pull like mad, but damned 4WD makes it just plow plow plow its way around corners. The only drifting I can do is without gas or brake on.
If you have any settings to try I'd be willing but otherwise I'm done with the novelty car.
Any Escudo experts, race it from home in the settings area and run Laguna Seca or Apricot Hill or any tracks really and post your best time so I can see if I'm doing something really wrong with this thing. And no wall hugging!

It's strange but the Escudo started out at a 1770ish hp rating. Now it's at 1881. I already maxed out the mods, so what gives?
Skorpion,
You can increase the amount of power to the rear wheels relative to the fronts in a four wheel drive car. I think it's possible to get the cornering of a rwd car and still have four wheel traction.

Ok weekend update:
I now have about 25 cars, and the game is 29% complete. My main cars are the new Viper that I got last night (only turbo so far, waiting for the money tree to grow back), my Touring car, and my Espirit. I am working on the professional series' races and will one day finish the few events on beginner that I couldn't get to. I ran an endurance race last night and got a couple hundred thousand. It was definately easy (super speedway) and I probably won by 20 laps. The car I won sucked, but I'm going to run it again today just to try to get the F1 car that was there (I could see the shape of it in the shadow). Happy Gaming!

I've finished all the amateur races now and started into the beginner. I was using the S2000 to make cash on the super speedway. I got a Cobra R and maxxed it out and was using that. Last night I won a Gillet Vertigo and that's what I'm racing now, pretty cool car.
There's one track where the last turn can make you fly. I have made every effort possible in the lowest possible cars (sparks are flying on replays) and I can't get them to flip.
