GT3 Tracking Thread
I'm 50% done with GT3 now. A few notes:
Fastest time: Dealer Dodge Viper (278 mph)
I've beaten the beginner and novice leagues and many or the Prof. I have not played the rally and endurance.
I find my best car by far is the Toyota Supra Race car. Its in the typical 950hp range like all of the others but DAM, this thing handles like it on rails. I also have the RX7, NSX, CLK, Viper, etc... race cars and they don

actually,
its called the Escudo and if I recall right, it is a twin 6 cylinder turbo setup... thats right, 2 engines...
monster none-the-less
I've hit about 520mph out of mine using that little bug in the game...
Some people claim to have hit close to 800!

I didn't believe in the beginning but after the setup refered in this thread, it will do over 800 mph.

I got an escudo yesterday and ran the first endurance race for 400g's. I didn't do as well as I had hoped, only won by about 3 laps. I figured I should have been able to blow them away by a long shot but this thing handles like crap (back to the garage). I think I'll just stick to the Lotus Espirit for track events, it handles better (great for power slides too!). I sold a lot of my cars that I never run, so now I think this is my current list:
Dodge Viper
Lotus Espirit
Pikes Peak Escudo
Integra Type R
NSX
Astra Touring Car

skitz, you need to start tweaking with the differential - why it handles like crap, is because the differential, when it starts to spin, its starts to go straight - or rather makes the car go straight. so, adjust the diff in accel/decel and on some finer turns, keep it in a high gear so you dont spin the tires, forcing the car to go straight to compensate.
