The Type R is powered by a 2.0-liter DOHC i-VTEC ... maximum power output of 220PS

The iS ... powered by a 2.0-liter DOHC i-VTEC engine with a maximum power output of 160PS

anybody know if north america's getting the type r version, as well as the 200hp type s?

 

My guess is that you guys get the Type S and we get the Type R...

 

By the way, I was driving next to a blue Type-S at Hot Import Nights (New Jersey) this past Saturday. . .

Interestingly, it doesn't look bad in person. . . I thought the overall ride height (approx 54") would be too high, but driving next to it, the car didn't seem too tall. . .

Regardless, the driver & his passengers wouldn't stop staring at my S . . .
