Ok think back to when you were a teenager...errr unless you are a teenager alaready. Have you ever lied to your parents because you were with a gf/bf that they disapproved of? (ie...tell them that you were at the mall but you were really making out with your bf/gf in tha backseat of your car, or you got home late and your excuse was you had to work late, but what you really did was makeout with your gf/bf in the closet at work, etc).

 

I never lied to my parents, I never had to, I just never let my family ever meet them

 

As a teenager, you lie to your parents about your g/f. As an adult, you lie to your wife about your g/f. It's just never ending!

 

yes and it bit me in the but. So I just don;t take them home any more.

 

Every girlfriend I brought over my mom liked... until they did something stupid later on in the relationship... but I never really have to lie to my mom. She trust me and I trust her... so... I am not worried about any girls I bring over... what I do with them is another story! lol...

 

same here Mike. and each time that I've introduced them to any individuals of my family, its guaranteed that the relationship will fail within the following 60 days. does my family freak them out? no, not really, its just a pattern.

 

I havent lied to my parents about my gfs, but I lied to my gfs a lot. Thats why I aint got one now.

 

I never had to hide anything. As long as I was home before the time I had told them no worries. I remember walking through the door just as my dad was sitting down for his morning coffee a couple times.
