JerseyGirl, try BHOdemon ( http://www.definitivesolutions.com/bhodemon.htm ). IE is very prone to getting its settings messed up to the point that it can't fix itself. If BHOD finds nothing try unsinstalling IE completely in the control panel and then resintalling to reset all the settings back to default. Those two steps should fix just about anything wrong with IE. If it still doesn't work after that you are probably looking at a bad registry setting for Windows, and not IE.

Thumbs down

Hey all!
Thanks for the tips. I just now figured out what the problem was. I was going through some things & found something called SAH-agent.exe that I tried to put into the recycle bin & then delete. It wouldn't delete - so that got me wondering what it was. I googled it & found out it was spy-ware. Now, I did an ad-ware/spy-ware search a few times, and this thing came up & it was quarantined, so I assumed it was taken care of. Ok, so back to Google. I found a site that talked about this & people said how it wouldn't allow IE to work. Ah-hah! I printed the steps & then did them. Once I got rid of the SAH-agent and rebooted, IE worked!

I'm one happy camper now that I fixed it!

If any of you want me to send you those directions, PM me w/ your email address. I have them saved.
