In my experience, it just takes time for a virgin to be physically ready. Just keep doing whatever it is you guys wanna do (up to whatever she's comfortable with) in the meantime. I suppose a checkup with a doctor couldn't hurt though! I'm not sure why you're worried about the hymen being broken though?

She felt as if somethin were "taken away" from her. She knows we're gonna do it sooner or later, but she didn't want it broken so early, and to be broken by the finger and not something else. I just needed some reassurance that it wasn't that bad. Hopefully. =-T

Just a girls perspective.. especially since you are in your "experiment" stage... My Disclaimer: Wait as LONG as you can until you are ready for the consequences. OK so anyways... Don't worry if you broke her hymn because a girl can break it as easily as riding a bike.. a horse or even doing splits. It's really NO BIG DEAL. Some girls it does hurt a little bit other wont feel a thing.. She's going to be fine and I Don't think seeing a Gyno is going to do anything about it. Try not to do possibly 2 just stick to 1 finger and if she feels pain it could be just that her hymn tearing slightly BUT IT IS going to happen whether fingers or other objects are inserted. Oh yeah and her VIRGINITY will not be lost until the actual fornication is done. She can remain at ease.

I really like OT

Yeah you would think that years of tampon usage would be nothing compared to a finger every now and then. My guess is that this is pyschological - a girl has to be ready for it. I'd suggest you buy her a few books on sex for her to read to get her psychologically prepared for the future

P.S. I'm shocked and there aren't a bunch of smartass comments...

P.P.S. You could always call Dr. Drew

Well, if your seriously worried about breaking it in the future, might I suggest you switch from using a finger (or object) to using your tongue (** See warning below)... besides, she'll get more pleasure of out of it, and no penitration is taking place.

** Note: While both of you are virgins, before exchange of body fluids, I would recommend and AIDS test... As there are other ways to acquire it besides sex. (God Am I getting old!?)

Wow ... I am amazed by this forum more and more each day. If it were another place, the flamers and weirdos would have been all over you with their comments and flames.

I remember I went through the same thing when I was 16. I was going out with a steady girlfriend for the longest time and we would often go to the brink, but not actually do it. It meant a lot to her to wait and the possibility of her getting pregnant scared the heck out of me.

Well anyway, she was horsing around at school and tried to jumping from one row of chairs to another in an auditorium. She landed the full weight of her body on the back of a chair. The problem was that she landed on her ... well you know ... she had one leg on each side of the chair (ouch). Besides for the embarrassment, she was in major pain. They brought an ambulance to school and took her to the hospital. She was bleeding down there. The doctor told her that she had ruptured her hymen (spelling??).

She always wondered if she would be like the rest of the girls when it came to their first time. Well anyway, when we did it about a year later everything was normal.

I suggest that whatever you do, just be careful (abstinence then safe sex). There is nothing scarier than being 15, 16, 17 and having your girlfriend miss her period by a few days. That's when you start making deals with god ... "If she gets her period, I will never have pre-marital sex again". Of course once she gets it, you kind of forget that promise!

Enjoy being young and don't hurry too much growing up! All things happen in time.

I, too, am amazed at the lack of smart-ass comments.
I am also slightly embarrassed just to read this thread.
