I went to several dealerships over the weekend, including several BMW, Mercedes, Dodge, and Acura. Only the one, Hopkins Acura, was willing to offer their high-demand SUV at MSRP and not screw me on the options. Has anyone else found a dealership in the Bay Area that is willing to do this? Maybe I just have bad luck.

BTW: Put the deposit on the MDX. They had one ready to be delivered, so I got to play a little. The DVD-Nav works great. Is it that same as the one in the Japanese S2K? Maybe someone could figure out how to mount the Japanese monitor w/ the us reader.

Now that I think of it, it does only fade the front speakers.
Unfortunately who ever came up with the poor stereo system for our S2 also
did the one for the OD. Which I will never understand.

It would be so great if our S2 did have a Navi. The Navi has been very useful.

I read some article at one time about the Canada plant. But we all know how
articles go. Once again enjoy!

Hey E ticket,

I also picked up my S2K at San Leandro Honda for a decent price. It took a little work, but I wasn't desperate and I kept walking out. They kept coming after me...

I really don't understand the dealerships who, when I called to ask about the price, said $43K or $45K! I obviously chose not to even walk in their doors. Doesn't seem like a good strategy to get customers to visit...

Hope you are enjoying your car!
