Good advice. The car is half yours so tell him he can nurse his half of the milage but you're going to drive yours! If that doesn't work, them him you're getting too many miles on you and have to stay in the garage for a while

I'm surprised how many guys are recommending this approach ... but why deprive myself to get back at him ???

Personally I think that if you are not worried about cash, go out and buy one for yourself. Two S2k's are always more fun then one.

Take the Solomonic approach and offer to saw the car in half. Go to a rental yard and rent the largest chain saw you can get your hands on. Fire it up and hold it one inch from the center on the front of the hood. Then ask the question.

Well, LEGALLY you own half the car but this isn't a legal issue....

Its a TERRITORIAL issue. Men like to mark their territory and it sounds like that's what he's doing.

You can't win this one. I suggest you get your own territory and mark it WELL!

To mark your territory, you first have to lift your leg. It took my male dog, Milo, five years to learn that. Now he pisses on his sister, PJ, every day.

I like Raptor's suggestions myself.

Seriously, are those his children too, or yours from a previous marriage? The reason I ask, is that if they are his kids also...where is it written that YOU are the soccer mom. Bull sh*t !!! Go buy whatever car you feel like driving. If he doesn't like having three cars, then tough...he can sell HIS. Sheesh I can't believe anyone would even allow crap like that...but then again it may explain why I prefer single status. My money..my decisions.
