I'm sure you would have been in more pain the day after a stairway tumble. The shitty feeling after a night of drinking a ton is your body's way of recovering and trying to regulate normal function. Having an extremely bad hangover is the equivalent of dying of thirst/dehydration. The best cure is lots of water, gatorade, advil and rest.
