Something just reminded me of this guy "Rick Flowers"

A CPA (that explains a lot)... he used to dig through my desk nightly to find my calculator cover, then put it on my "10 key" then remind me in the morning to put it on nightly..... I would sometimes move it to different drawers to make him work to find it.

I apparently left the calculator on and put the cover on it one night.... the dick actually checked and brought it up the next day....haha

He also talked in the third person "Rick Flowers likes a clean office"..... ummm......."Scot Burner (that's me, just in case you didn't know) thinks your an asshole"......

 

Start calling him Dick.

 

I haven't had any bad ones yet. I get my work done, usually faster than most people around me, so I'm rarely bothered. I'm also second-in-command, so that makes things easier as well.

No one goes in my desk. My computer is open to anyone that needs it, but that's no big deal. I don't keep anything personal on there.

 

My start time was 6am but I never could get there on time, I usually got there around 6:45-7:00 cuz I suck at mornings . There's 2 immature jealous fags that would always tell on me so when my boss sat me down about coming in late he just told me that he's gunna change my start time to 7.

 

It's rare in the cooler end of the computer industry. . . but we do have one middle manager who does not give rats a$$ one about his employee. . . he just looks at the bug count. . .

. . . that's when we put phony bugs into the system to see whether he's actually reading the bug reports. . .

 

in my field, better docs are a little anal.
one of the surgeons wants some really specific stuffs: the thermometer to read 67degree, the microscope light dial is marked to a specific spot, the gurney is at the specific height & there are marks on the floor so the gurney is always in the same spot, he only use a certain operating chair, etc. The nurses have a field day with that guy.

 

but when it comes to eye surgery, you want a guy who pays attention to the details.

 

It's not because he's a "CPA", asshole.

That dude needs to find a new hobby though..

 

At some in his early 50's he had a heart problem.... but that didn't stop him.... he bought a couch to take midnight naps so he could work more....

Haven't seen him in about 5 years... hopefully he has changed....

 

I think none of my bosses are anal about things, but the owner of the company likes to discuss over what the employees have done wrong IN FRONT OF EVERYONE at the company meeting.

It's pretty embarassing sometimes.
