I was just hitting the 80's as a senior in HS.

I was pretty small @ 5'11'' 140.

Now I'm 175ish but haven't thrown a baseball for about 8years.

I would like to see how fast I would be now. But if I did it on a whim, I'm 100% sure I'd hurt something.
I know what you mean by being small, at least weight wise...I was 6'2 and 145 lbs!
all through H.S., Now I am 6'4 180..still fairly small I suppose but a lot more developed. I'm gonna get clocked soon!

And just so everyone knows, those pitching booths are notorious for being rigged to display incorrect numbers.. IMO scot really only hit 55 mph.

I was never a pitcher, i played RF, but i could repeadedly throw 65-70mph out of right, VERY little accuracy. the fastest ive ever thrown was 79mph, and i though i was going to dislocate my shoulder trying to throw that hard.

PS I played a manly sport in high school....lacrosse. My shot was clocked at 86 mph and I was a small kid at 5"8', 150lbs. But I have long arms and had exceptional technique. That sport was great....you can whack people with basically a metal pipe and its LEGAL!
glory days!!!! FTW!!!!

thanks!!!! Douche Bag

The ball I threw flew so fast that it surpassed a person's running speed.

Beginning of summer after 6th grade: 40mph
Beginning of 7th grade: 76mph
End of 7th grade: 65mph.... three times before my shoulder kills me.

Skateboarding screwed up my pitching abilities....

Never really played any type of organized baseball when I was younger. Hit 76 when I was 19 but then popped my shoulder playing a pick-up game of football. Not sure what I can hit nowadays but doubt I can throw max effort without feeling the residual effects of the dislocation. I'm 5' 10" with a short wingspan.
