Left school after 2 years (2000), $55k + $5k signing bonus as a consultant. Times are tougher now though. I feel for all you guys coming out of school right now.

Journalism with emphasis on public relations. Graduated '94 and made 18k.

I later moved into IT project management and made a bit more.

$23k right out of school in 2000 as an Environmental Consultant. I was full of ideals, and deep in debt. Graduated from a "top" school (meaning big f'ing loans).

Now doing commercial pharma/health care management consulting and trying to make up the difference after starting on the low end of the salary scale. Still doing a LOT better than the Env. Sci. days. . .

Making $50k+OT. Just graduated in Dec. 2003 with a Comp Sci degree and a 3.67 GPA.

My wife is a pharmacist. Most places are PharmD programs now. This means usually a bachelor's or 3 years of undergrad before acceptance to Pharmacy school. 3-4 years of pharmacy school based on if its a B.S. or a PharmD degree school. Starting salaries vary by the supply vs. demand ratio. In El paso, starting salaries are $85k+. Some PharmD's make $100k+. There is a huge need. So, at the least u would be make $70k in Texas. You need to adjust that income for California or NY.

1st yr. post college: -18,000 dollars. I lost that much money because I went to med school.
