The "scammer scammer" is an idiot. Nowhere do I see the "writer" making an attempt to scam, though he did ask for money up front. He didn't get it BUT he did still complete the writing work.

I'm sure it was a run-of-the-mill 419 scam on Cyril's part. If you've seen one, you've seen them all.

Notice that the whole correspondence is stored on a website called "419eaters.com". From that alone I'd assume that the person who originated the "scam of the scammer" process had been hit with a 419 from this guy. I doubt he just picked the guy totally at random without ever receiving an email from him in the first place.

I get those types of email all the time, and at best they're an annoyance. Damned if I'm going to feel sorry for a guy who fell for his own medicine.
