i am on hold with Dell "INDIA"
i tried to order a computer earlier today but they say something doesn't check out.... i now have "marta" (as i understood her anyway)...... we are not having fun!!!!!! She doesn't seem to be able to understand me.....i am talking very slowly and very loud, but still having trouble.... i am on hold right now.....
i told her how i used the SAME EXACT credit card to purchase 3 other Dell things in the past 3 months........ so....she must have had some numbers backwards...all the sudden she is like..."okay, your computer is going to be ordered"...... doh!
I confirmed at the end she was in INDIA.......

I fight back with my dollars. Fuk that company, won't use them for anything. When they decide to put jobs back into our economy instead of sending them overseas, I'll do business with them again. Until then fuk 'em. Vote with your wallet bro.
Buy through a business account and you won't have to deal with India. I buy tons of dell stuff up at work and ALWAYS get an American, for both tech support and sales. They use people in India to deal with the average dumbass consumer.
When they decide to put jobs back into our economy instead of sending them overseas,
Reality is in India you generally get a well educated person for a lot less money. In the states you double that money and you get some high school dropout with an attitude and drinking problem.
However, taking your vote with your wallet bit as bait -- exactly where would one buy a laptop that was built in the U.S. with all U.S. parts?
People always ask me where they can buy an affordable computer, and I send them over to Dell. Although I wouldn't use a Dell myself, I still recommend them for the average consumer because Dell still represents the best value in computers.

As far as bringing jobs back, Dell actually did bring some tech support jobs back to the US for the corporate customers since they have higher profit margins and they didn't want to risk pissing off the high end customers anymore after all the negative feedback about the communications barriers. But I'm still going to make my own systems.

I ran into Scott Blum (Buy dot com) owner at the gas station in Laguna Beach. Told him I wanted his home phone number to resolve my issue, because I wasn't calling his third world call center. I'm a big boy and he didn't seem to happy to have me in his face. He gave me a company business card with the local address in Aliso Viejo Ca (10 minutes away)cruised over grabbed someone who spoke english and had them fix my issue.
Lastly you are always bagging on people in our country , example women in europe are better and so on . What the hell are you doing living here if the people here suck according to you .
Well I guess Scot and I from another post have never spoke to these "gifted Indians" because he is having problems with "Marta" and I had my issues with "Eric" at Buy dot com over something that should have been pretty simple to resolve.
If these people walk on water with their higher levels of education why are they working for pennies on the dollar in some third world country?
And don't try and insult us adopting "American names" ,why are they hiding their heritage?

Not sure what your last comment had to do with anything -- but you asked.
