Again, if anything in real life I am more blunt. I do in fact walk with a limp, but that is the result of a motorcycle accident; not some small dude with a big ego "teaching me a lesson." Dunno, maybe my being bigger than most folks makes it easier for me to shrug off the small dicks of this world.

The only coward I see here is someone who lacks the intelligence to debate at an adult level and resorts to name calling.

Actually, in thinking about it I realize that most of the folks I discuss issues like this with are educated and rational human beings. They don't mind being on the right or wrong side of a debate so long as the process is entertaining.

I suppose I could lower myself to your level and point out what I suspect are the real issues in your life that make you post in such an immature manner -- but honestly I don't care. I choose not to associate with stupid people in real life and I don't have the patience or the desire to attempt to argue with dumb people on the Internet either.
Blah, Stop copying my logic from my earlier post. Admit it, you hate Americans because of your own insecurities.

You are an ass.

I am waiting for your next dig.

Wow, what a mess a phone a call to a Dell tech can cause !

Hmmm....I work closely with European collegues and my impression is that they bi*ch about how things are in their "homeland" all the time. Much higher tax rate, higher gas price, higher labor rate, and "non-Europeans" competing with the natives for jobs !

Longer vaction? Sure, but one of my collegues told me he had to spend his entire vacation fixing things around his house himself becouse he could not afford a Turkish handy man . So my impression of those long "European" vacation is not all that glamorous as one might think. Hell, they might be flipping tv channels all day long with a bottle of beer they love so much....not my kind of vacation.

So they work to live and not the other way? Sure, good for them. But I don't see why one couldn't do the same here in good old USA?

But I digress...back to the topic...I don't see nothing wrong with a customer demanding to be able to communicate with a service technician. It's a simple request really.

We don't get as much vacation -- we don't have the same job security (although the EU is becoming more like the U.S. in this regard) -- we don't seem to be able to enjoy life as much.

In Norway if you are on holiday and you get sick -- you get those holiday days again. Now here is the odd part, this fact is for the most part not abused, my guess is in America it would be. Different cultures.

I never said I hated Americans. Get over yourself, we have all moved past your shallow and insecure knee-jerk reactions.

Steve C. Says....

"Your average American is an uneducated, poorly traveled egocentric dolt. I live here (part time only) because unlike any other country on earth (that I have found) there is a large concentration of stupid people willing to pay me great money because your average American is (see afformentioned comments) -- and lazy."

Uh huh. If that's not hate or bitterness I don't know what is. Does that make you feel better about yourself?

Why do you live here?

Well I guess Scot and I from another post have never spoke to these "gifted Indians" because he is having problems with "Marta" and I had my issues with "Eric" at Buy dot com over something that should have been pretty simple to resolve. If these people walk on water with their higher levels of education why are they working for pennies on the dollar in some third world country? And don't try and insult us adopting "American names" ,why are they hiding their heritage? If your name is Apu ,use your real damn name answer my damn question the first time and quit reading off your prepared list of answers.

I ran into Scott Blum (Buy dot com) owner at the gas station in Laguna Beach. Told him I wanted his home phone number to resolve my issue, because I wasn't calling his third world call center. I'm a big boy and he didn't seem to happy to have me in his face. He gave me a company business card with the local address in Aliso Viejo Ca (10 minutes away)cruised over grabbed someone who spoke english and had them fix my issue.

Lastly you are always bagging on people in our country , example women in europe are better and so on . What the hell are you doing living here if the people here suck according to you .
"Apu"...............you've been watching Simpsons way too much.

I don't fully agree with all this outsourcing either, but it is proven fact that most Americans' complain way too much and are very materialistic , wanting everything for nothing. The Indians who you think can't speak a word of English have learned multiple languages at school and do quite well for English not being their first language. Maybe the can't respond in a fast, orderly manner, but this doesn't mean they can't fix your problem. I've done field work in Mumbai for my company, and it is amazing to see how hard they work and how well educated most people over there are....that goes for China (been there for extended work assignement) as well.

Look around, most Asian-Americans are doing well financially with respect to the average American , maybe you can reflect on this a bit more......and ask yourself why is this the case.

side note:
if there were more programmers, scientist and engineers graduating from US schools compared to the number of burger flippers, maybe we wouldn't have to outsource or bring all the "Apu's" to the US of A.

Again -- nowhere do I say I hate Americans. Pointing out what your average American is does not mean that I hate American's. The second question is answered (again) in that same post.

Please stop proving my point about stupid Americans and stop posting while you only look this stupid.

you all drive a honda? and here we are acting like rednecks......

I went to the Indy for the Brickyard 400 and you would not belive it. I must have seen over 200,000 rednecks in 5 square miles. I thought I was on a different planet... I'm sure corporate sent over their call-center jobs overseas.

Sorry for the mean spirited post's you saw Naseeb. I'm just proud of the country I live in.

I drive a Honda. I also own a Ford. Call me a half redneck or half ricer.

I just don't like freeloaders like Steve C. and his **** buddy's who think they are entitled to live here and reap the rewards while insulting the hand who feeds them.

BTW, theres nothing wrong with rednecks, regular people or import owners. We are just proud of what we have. It's the same as one of us being proud of our Honda's or being proud of the Mustang we plan to build. It's all good.
