I go into autozone and ask for the dude to pull my code cause i think its a gas cap, it was loose. He comes out and says "i almost bought one of these once, (s2k) i ended up with a miata though, Its the same but a lot cheaper." I was like, "sure". I look across the parking lot at a first gen miata with a ripped top and it was pretty banged up. yea, he was right. The same thing but cheaper than my mint '02 with oem hardtop and ap2 front.

i got a good laugh from the dude. luckily it was a p1456

They will still pull them... I just dont think they will clear them anymore

 

They won't clear them for you but they will let you hit the button to clear em.

Thanks for posting that up! Ive been having the same problem with mine, the gas cap constantly coming loose... and I knew it was a common problem just hadnt gotten around to looking up the solution!
