I hate M$ Outlook!
If you ever read the MS best practices documents on mailbox handling (doesn't everyone do this?) you need to keep the .pst under the 2gig limit, I've seen people really close to the limit and it kills the pst.
I try to break up PST's into subject specifics, back them up and move them to CD if I really feel I need it.
Best practice also indicates don't use PST's. PST = Evil in exchange land.
MarkS2K: The security patch / SP2 did that specifically to kill the spread of viruses....oh yeah that worked great.
